generally, if you are using a photograph that you haven't taken, it is advised to seek permission from the owners of that photo. the exception is that if you are not using a photo for financial gain then you can use the photo under what is called the "fair use" policy. often part of the permission of using the photo is that the name of the owner gets printed with the picture and also a share of the profits gained using that photo.
