Evaluation Unit 18
My finished product looks completely different to my finished design as I never intended on using a red background.
Technology has really helped me in turning my design into a finish product as i could have never done it without using photoshop.
I do feel that my product is suitable for my target audience as it shows someone admiring the shoe which hopefully will encourage people who are viewing the advert to admire the product too.
Two of challenges that i have overcome is designing a product that is suitable for my target audience and designing the product on photoshop.
I have gain the ability to use photoshop to a good standard and i feel comfortable and confident in using photoshop again.
Evalution Unit 7
My finished product is slightly different for my design as i was still testing and experimenting with photoshop and my magazine cover whilst it was being made.
The technology i have used such as photoshop has really helped in the making of my magazine cover as i think i would have found it much harder and it would have looked less professional if i used any other software.
I feel that my magazine is suitable for my target audience as it is featuring stories that my target audience would be interested in reading as they watch these programmes.
The two challenges i have overcome in the making of this magazine cover is using photoshop as i had no prior experience with it and the research as i found it very difficult to find somewhere to start researching from.
A technical skill i have gained is using photoshop as i feel confident in using it and would definitely use it again.

I have realized from my questionnaire that teenagers see this as more of a shoe styled towards them and by the colour scheme and older people don't see this as a shoe styled towards them as it is not their style. I have also found that older people find the colour scheme more appropriate for the shoe than younger people so i think that i will need to change the colour scheme to make it more teenage friendly so i can really target this at my target audience.

evaluation of questionnaire
Evaluation of Questions
Question 1
Most people think the magazine is appropriate for the name
because it has a main cover photo of Darren Clarke who at the time recently won
The Open so it is very appropriate for the name at the time.
Question 2
Generally, most people think that the magazine name of ‘get
into the swing of it’ is appropriate for the magazine. The reason others might
not find it appropriate is because they don’t understand the pun that is behind
the ‘get into the swing of it name’.
Question 3
Most people agree that the colour scheme is appropriate as
it is a nice blue colour, which is the same as the Darren Clarke’s shirt, and
it fades into a white background.
Question 4
Everyone I interviewed agreed that the target audience is
correct as the name of the magazine and all the articles and photos in the
magazine are related to golf.
Question 5
I think most people think that the main image isn’t
appropriate for the magazine, as they may not know who the person is. Also,
this is quite an old image so people may not still recognise.
Question 6
Everyone I interviewed ha said that they like the way my
magazine has been set out. I think this may be because it looks like a
conventional magazine and everyone is used to and sees the magazine how they
expect it to look.
Question 7
When I asked, ‘if there was anything you would improve on,
what would it be?’ most people said they would like to change the colour scheme
or make the magazine bigger. The reason I think they think this is because they
would like more cover space or a brighter or darker look to the magazine.
